Shawn Johnson Expecting Baby No. 3 With Husband Andrew East
On her Instagram account, former Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson revealed that
she and her husband, Andrew East, are expecting their first child.
The couple, who are expecting their third child, teased viewers with a snapshot of themselves at an Olympic amphitheater; however,
the surprise was a photo of her developing baby belly rather than the amphitheater itself.
Johnson, who competed for the United States in the 2008 Summer Olympics,
gave her response by citing something said by Nastia Liukin.
Johnson made the announcement of her pregnancy just a few hours before her performance in Los Angeles for the 2023 ESPY Awards.
The couple has decided to take an unconventional approach to the pregnancy by keeping the baby's gender a secret.
East has expressed delight about the possibility to do it all over again with her husband.
