Ray Liotta Receives Posthumous 2023 Emmy Nomination
The late Ray Liotta (age 67) has been nominated for an Emmy in 2023 for his performance as
Big Jim Keene in the TV movie/limited series Black Bird.
On July 12, seven actors were nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie,
including the late actor who passed away in May 2022.
After being nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his appearance on ER,
Ray has now been nominated for an Emmy twice.
Actor Taron Egerton was nominated for an Emmy, too,
for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for his work in the series.
Karsen Liotta said her dad was overjoyed with praise for his work in Black Bird and
thanked everyone who had taken the time to watch it.
Ray's fiancee Jacy Nittolo reacted to the news as well,
posting the words "Well Deserved" under a photo of Ray's nomination on the Television Academy's website.
