Siew, then 26 years old, was their closest companion and creative soulmate for a decade.

posted an Instagram message of condolences.

Siew was well-liked for his talent, imagination, and generosity,

and he also received high marks for his sense of humor, courage, and inventiveness.

Siew declared in January that he had stopped taking anti-depressants and was instead focusing on improving himself.

The band said they had to cancel the rest of their European summer tour due to a family emergency.
