Karine Jean-Pierre Is In Serious Trouble

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, the first openly gay person and Black woman to hold the position,

has taken heat for her work. They say she lied to the American people and broke the Hatch Act,

which says federal workers can't use their positions to influence elections, so they want her gone.

According to the Office of Special Counsel,

Jean-Pierre violated the act by repeatedly using the term "mega MAGA Republicans"

in the run-up to the midterm elections last year.

While President Biden referred to "mega MAGA Republicans" in a speech at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters

less than ten days before Jean-Pierre's,

the Office of Special Counsel issued a warning letter to Jean-Pierre for using the term "MAGA" four times.

Instead of taking disciplinary action,

the Office of Special Counsel simply warned Jean-Pierre in writing.
