Babylon 5 Fans Have a Good News to Cheer For

On its 30th anniversary, Babylon 5 will be released on Blu-ray as a full series box set on December 5, 2023.

The Gathering, the TV movie that kicked off the series,

will be included in the HD remastering and packaging of the whole series.

The set's $100 price tag may discourage some fans from placing a pre-order,

but it will more than cover its costs in the first five months.

With its rich plotting, multifaceted characters, and diplomatic intrigues,

Babylon 5 is widely regarded as one of the finest space operas ever put to film.

On August 15, the Blu-ray, 4K,

and video on demand versions of the animated picture Babylon 5: The Road Home, directed by J. Michael Straczynski,

will be made available to consumers.

Like the 1994 live-action TV series, this film chronicles John Sheridan's adventures across time, space, and parallel realms.
